Readiness Assessment
Readiness Assessment: six weeks of read-only review before any project
The Readiness Assessment is a six-week, read-only engagement in which our engineers review the data your existing systems already hold, add temporary non-intrusive metering on key utilities, and give you a written picture of data integrity, alarm response and energy — with no changes to your systems and no obligation to proceed.

Who it is for
Before committing to a monitoring or automation project, most sites need evidence: where data integrity is weak, which alarms are ignored, where the energy goes. We review 6-12 months of alarm, excursion, environmental and energy data from your existing systems, and add temporary clamp-on metering where key utilities are not measured. Nothing in any GMP or production system is changed, a mutual NDA is signed before any data is exchanged, and data stays in the Kingdom on storage you approve.
- 01
Pharma and life-sciences sites
QA and engineering teams preparing for inspection, or planning to replace an EMS, BMS or manual records with a validated system.
- 02
Data centres
Operators who need a clear view of power, fuel and cooling across systems that currently run separately.
- 03
Industrial facilities
Plant, utilities and energy managers who want measured evidence before investing in automation or energy projects.
- 04
Project owners and EPC contractors
Teams defining scope for a new monitoring or automation package who need a baseline from the existing site.
Six weeks, step by step
Weeks 1-2
Agreement, access and metering
Mutual NDA signed before any data exchange. We agree the systems, areas and data periods in scope with your engineering and QA teams, receive read-only exports of 6-12 months of data, and install temporary non-intrusive meters on the agreed utilities.
Weeks 3-4
Analysis
We review audit trails, user access and record handling against data-integrity requirements, analyse alarm frequency and response by area, and build the energy baseline from historical and metered data.
Weeks 5-6
Findings and executive readout
Findings are reviewed with your engineers for accuracy, temporary meters are removed, and we present the written reports and a ranked shortlist of actions to your management team.
Principles we never cross
- Read-only and non-intrusiveWe read exports and add temporary clamp-on metering. No setpoint, configuration or program in any GMP or production system is changed.
- Your teams approve each stepYour engineering and QA teams approve the scope, data requests, meter locations and site visits before each step goes ahead.
- Data stays in the KingdomA mutual NDA is signed before any data exchange, and data is held in the Kingdom on storage that you approve.
- No commitment beyond six weeksThe assessment ends with the readout. There is no obligation to proceed with any project, with us or anyone else.
What you receive
- Data-integrity gap reportFor regulated sites: gaps in records, audit trail, access control and review against ALCOA+, EU Annex 11 and PIC/S PI 006, ranked by risk.
- Alarm-response analysis by areaAlarm and excursion counts, nuisance alarms and acknowledgement times by area, showing where alarm handling breaks down.
- Energy baseline and savings shortlistConsumption by utility and area from historical and metered data, with a ranked shortlist of savings opportunities.
- Power, fuel and cooling visibility reviewFor data centres: what is monitored today across EPMS, UPS, generators, fuel and cooling, and where the gaps in visibility and alarming are.
- Executive readoutA presentation of findings and options to your management team, with no obligation to proceed.

Frequently asked questions
Will the assessment affect our validated or production systems?
No. We work from read-only exports and temporary clamp-on meters. No setpoint, configuration or program in any GMP or production system is touched, so validated status is unaffected.
Where is our data kept?
In the Kingdom, on storage you approve. A mutual NDA is signed before any data is exchanged.
What do you need from our team?
A named contact in engineering and in QA where relevant, read-only data exports, and approval of meter locations and site visits. Your teams approve each step before it goes ahead.
What if our systems cannot export 12 months of data?
We work with what is available within the 6-12 month range and state any limits on the findings in the report. Temporary metering fills gaps on key utilities where no data exists.
Are we obliged to award a project afterwards?
No. The engagement ends with the executive readout. The reports are yours to use with any contractor.
Is the assessment only for pharma sites?
No. It is offered to pharma sites, data centres and industrial facilities. The data-integrity review applies to regulated sites; the power, fuel and cooling review applies to data centres.
Let’s start by understanding your facility
Send us a short description of the site and its current systems, and an engineer will come back with clear next steps.
